Biography:
Atty. Dr. Samora P. Z. Wolokolie: He is a highly accomplished Liberian legal practitioner, public financial expert, and business executive with a distinguished career spanning over 18 years across law, public finance, forensic auditing, and corporate consultancy. He currently serves as Associate Legal Counsel at Torch Professional Consultancy, Inc., where he supports a multidisciplinary legal team in delivering strategic legal, regulatory, and corporate solutions to institutional and individual clients.
Admitted to the Liberian Bar, Dr. Wolokolie brings over four years of active legal practice, with expertise in corporate litigation, contract negotiation, tax and fiscal advisory, banking and environmental law, and public interest law. He has represented clients in civil and criminal proceedings, advised multinational and domestic corporations, and contributed to national legal frameworks through policy and consultancy work.
Dr. Wolokolie also serves as the Managing Partner and CEO of Alliance CPA, Inc., a premier auditing and advisory firm and proud member of the Alliott Global Alliance, and is Chairman and CEO of Zama Group of Companies, Inc.
He previously held the position of Deputy Minister for Fiscal Affairs at Liberia’s Ministry of Finance and Development Planning, where he led national fiscal management and supervised government-wide financial operations and policy implementation for six years. His public and private sectors leadership also include roles such as Director of Internal Audit and Managing Partner of BICON, Inc.
A seasoned academic, Dr. Wolokolie currently lectures at the University of Liberia and Stella Maris Polytechnic University and frequently speaks at regional and international forums. He is an Assistant Professor of Accounting and a respected researcher, having authored two books:
- Forensic Accounting Analytics and Pension Fund Administration
- Combating Money Laundering: A Guide to Forensic Investigation Professionals
He holds a Ph.D. in Forensic Accounting & Audit and a second Ph.D. in Economics (in progress) at Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone. He also holds an LL.B. from the Louis Arthur Grimes School of Law, University of Liberia; an MBA in Accounting, and a Master of Science (MSc.) in Forensic Accounting.
